Today's well dressed slave does not wear signifying jewlery from
the local 'Hot Topics' store.
Such an exceptional commitment requires an equally exceptional statement.
Gold plating versus 14k gold represents a problem and one that is not easily solved. The dangling chains rub on the D-rings, as does every day wear cause general rubbing on the gold. Being such a soft metal, wear results and it has been our experience that the much cheaper gold plating can be more easily replaced than the replenishment of very expensive 14k from the cast pieces. I have not done this, but the proper course may be to have a set in plain nickel (silver color) for everyday wear and save the gold for formal wear. |
